Cheltenham is known as the UK’s most complete Regency town, and our elegant gallery, situated on the Promenade, boasts all the architectural features you would expect, including: a classic frontage, high ceilings, an original Cheltonian style staircase, and a large and distinctive panelled skylight on the main floor. The Promenade, just off the High Street, is home to many of the town’s most luxurious establishments and is served by the Regent Arcade car park, located just behind the gallery for easy and convenient access.
The gallery is light and spacious, but the upper viewing rooms provide a more cosy and intimate setting for choosing artwork which mirrors a home environment. With over 80 galleries in the group, Clarendon offers an exclusive experience in art acquisition, specialising in unique original works and limited edition statement pieces from some of the world’s most dynamic and talented street, pop and contemporary artists. We have also built a superb collection of rare editions from some of the greatest modern masters working during the 20th century, including Lowry, Chagall, and Warhol.
